Our story

It was never my intention to get the bait boat business. My training and background is in Counseling and helping people with addictions and mental health problems.

Bait boats have been a part of my personal fishing methodology since I first learned about them. Having a deep respect for the culture of Euro Carp fishing, I set out to try and learn all aspects the best I could. Bait boats quickly became my “go to” way of approaching baiting campaigns. But my experience with the boats itself was no fairytale.

Like many in the USA, I drooled over the European boats that were widely available. I spent hours scheming ways to get my hands on the RT4, the GOWI, the Carpediem line…but no European companies were willing to ship a boat to the USA. So I was left to choose from lesser known Chinese boats. And thats what I did, over and over again. My experience was frustrating to say the least. One of those boats is at the bottom of Castaic Lake. The others either took on water, the hopper doors would stop functioning, were INCREDIBLY slow!! The list of problems just went on and on. And there was no tech support, no service, and no warrantee. I wont mention the brands, but they are widely available now in the USA from various vendors.

I needed a solution, I was attracted to the precision a bait boat offered in my baiting campaigns and the results in my fishing. So I scoured for a boat that had the quality I needed and didn’t break the bank at the same time. I needed something that I could personally customize, as I had my own ideas of what works and what doesn’t based on my own personal experience. The boats I am offering today are tried and true personally, and put through the test of time.

You may be put off by the price initially, and thats fair. I would ask that you consider quality and reliability as major factors in this equation. Buying a new cheap boat (or not so cheap) every 6 months or so and dealing with constant headaches in the meantime when things go wrong was a huge consideration for me. Some of you may relate and see the value.

Even though I never intended to start a bait boat business, Im glad I did. The response was overwhelming from the Carp Angler community. Many of you have expressed the exact frustrations I experienced, which only confirmed the need for a quality bait boat solution in the USA. The best part about owning West Coast bait boats has been getting to know the larger carp angler community. Its been a joy and blessing.
